Nice murky golden color. Minimal white head. Some nice lacing. The nose is funky, like being outdoors, that's what it smells like. The taste is dry, slightly tart, some fruit (peach). Nice bodied beer. Damn delicious overall.

this one has such high potential, which is why i was really a disappointed with it. this is like the wild pale/saison hybrid, well hopped and grainy in the right ways, wheaty and cerealy, light though, interesting, and drinkable. i could see this eventually turning into their best beer, but right now some of the elements are really lacking. i cant even tell you how excited i was to order this one, fully wild and all, but that element is such a let down, and while all their wild beer seemed underdeveloped from a yeast standpoint, it was most obviously missing from this beer, which basically depends on it, and it isnt really there. not tart or funky at all, a little old worldy, earthy, softly fruity, but not at all what we normally think of as wild. mild peach and citrus in here, a little from the yeast maybe and certainly from the hops, the flavors are actually really good, but a mature brett pitch or something would really set this off. hazy and lacking carbonation, this has the look and feel of a beer that hasnt quite hit its mark yet, but the potential is all over it. still a drinkable and somewhat different and interesting specimen, but watch this one evolve, i bet it will be amazing once they get the yeast really cranking in it. neat to try, but a few turns from finished, like most of the beer in here right now.
