From a crowler:
Appearance: Murky yellow-orange, small head.
Smell: Citrus, OJ, the usual NEIPA scent.
Taste: Nice citrus, pineapples, moderately sweet. Alcohol is well hidden.
Overall: Not retired as of Dec 2018. This was probably my favorite beer of 2017 but I didn't review it at the time. 2018 saw many NEIPAs come out in the Twin Cities so I wanted to give this another shot with more experience with the style. It still impressed me, not mind-blowing anymore, but still quite good.

Lightly hazed, amber-hued, slim white head.
In the nose: big fruit, big, bold, pithy hop bitterness and fruit notes aplenty. Sweet, hoppy, bitter, beautiful. Me, I like it.
In the mouth: Big bitterness, huge fruit, tasty all the way. Alcohol creeps in, assuredly. A veritable cornucopia on the palate. Bigness upon bigness.

Poured a cloudy golden/yellow color with a fresh white head and lacing. Tropical smells with wild yeast. Taste was mellow to dank hops most tropical with some garden hops malts and yeast in the finish. mouth feel had slight funk and was hoppy ABV well hidden. A hoppy wild ale .
