Mirabelle is our golden sour ale that was first aged in our oak foeders for six months and then transferred to barrels that once held Tattersall Distilling’s award-winning gin. After spending six months in the barrels, the ale picked up floral notes from the juniper botanicals and has nice oak undertones.

Poured from a 750ml bottle.
Pale, hazy golden color, no head, no lacing.
Oaky, tart smell, with tart, oaky taste, with gin flavors at the back end. Quite tasty.
Rather thin mouth feel.
Wild Mind puts out another very interesting wild ale. Tartness is moderate, with an amalgam of intermixed flavors.

Beer is still solid. Oaky, with a little fume blanc wine funk. More sour than tart taste. Quite smooth, and enjoyable. Extremely dry. Tastes like a beer that is still developing its true nature within the bottle.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
