This Northeast-style IPA was fermented with our house ale yeast cultures and hopped with Simcoe hops at every stage of the brewing process to create layer after layer of hop flavor. Simcoe hops were added to the initial wort, during the boil, and twice during the whirpool before being double dry-hopped, resulting in a hazy beer bursting with notes of fresh grapefruit juice, citrus peel, and just a hint of dankness.

Pours a hazy golden yellow color. Nicely hopped wth notes of melon citrus and pineapple. A soft mouth feel with little bitterness . Wild Mind is doing some nice NEIPA'S this one is no exception . Refreshing tropical sweet and dry.

Poured from 750ml crowler can into glass. Fill date marked on can as '1/5(2018)'.
Slightly cloudy, pale gold colored body. One finger of white head settles to ring and interrupted islands. Strings and rings of lacing.
Aroma is grapefruit and orange.
Taste is orange first and then grapefruit. Citrus peel is also there, but bitterness is very subdued. Taste is quite bright, and a little juicy.
Medium mouth feel, splurpy.
The beer is not bitter but the hops do build up close to a burn (aromatic and taste). At times remindful of a popsicle. I like the attempt to get to a NEIPA, and the beer has some reminders of this but does not have the real juiciness, together with the mouth feel and the murky appearance, of the style. Totally crushable, which is the best way to gather the NEIPA style points of this beer.
