To create Silla, we smoked more than 450 pounds of peaches over alderwood for three hours and added them to a wild ale brewed with our wild yeast and bacteria. For this special batch, we added fresh vanilla and cinnamon sticks to add a rich vanilla flavor to the sour's light tartness, hints of smoke, and punch of peach flavor.

Poured from 750ml bottle into glass. No bottling date information found on bottle or label.
Murky, gold/peach colored body. Slight fizzy head quickly disappears. No lacing.
Definitely has smoke in the aroma. Also smells of peach, cinnamon/vanilla, and earthy funk.
Taste is sour peach, with smoke and vanilla adding in to the profile.
Medium, oily mouth feel. Good carbonation level. Rather dry and quick end to each tasting sip.
A combination of tastes that are not found very often, and better executed than would be expected to be possible. Certainly a sour experience but peach and smoke are comforting flavor components. Lends itself to a cold weather, before the fireplace sipping session.

This beer pours a very light golden color, almost white. VERY murky. No head, but there's carbonation bubbles in the glass.
The nose is funky, sour, and a hint of smoke. Slight vanilla note also.
Taste - WOW! So many flavors! Funky. Sour. Smoke. Vanilla. These flavors would not seem to be able to work together, but they do!
Mouthfeel is moderate. There's a slight carbonation feel.
As I said before, you wouldn't think that the flavors described could work together, but they do, and they do amazingly. This beer isn't for everyone, but if you are at all a fan of what I described, get it if you can.
