Poured from 750ml crowler can into glass. Fill date is 2/22(2018).
Opaque, black colored body. Just a touch of fizzy head on each pour. No lacing.
Coffee dominates the aroma, with dark roasted malts supporting.
Taste introduces the apple brandy flavor (a little sweet), but still heavy with coffee and dark malts.
Medium mouth feel, kind of flat as to carbonation, but slight ring is fed by bubbles.
A different take on a coffee stout, with the apple brandy aspect. I think it meets the brewing expectations but it is not a "wow" beer, but still enjoyable.
