This hazy IPA is part of a two-beer series and was brewed with 2-row pale malt, malted wheat. and flaked wheat. Slanted was brewed with 4.4 pounds per barrel of hops — 75 percent Motueka and 25 percent Mosaic. The resulting IPA has a velvety mouthfeel and notes of lemon marmalade and fresh mint.

Poured from crowler into glass. Fill date marked on can is '6/14(2018)'.
Mostly cloudy, straw gold colored body. Bubbly white head settles to interrupted cap and high ring. Rings and spots of lacing left behind.
Mint, spice, and lemon in the aroma. Kind of earthy also.
Taste is rather earthy and dry. Hop taste is more in the tropical fruit realm, and marmalade as described by the brewer. Light mint is at the high end. No bitterness at all.
Medium mouth feel. Okay carbonation.
'Enchanted' and 'Slanted' are two beers that use the same ingredients but vary the percentage of hops. To me, 'Slanted' is more expressive and has a more enjoyable taste. Less earthy and more marmalade.
