Second Man on the Moon has bright citrus aromas and flavors that were complemented with a heavy dose of Motueka and Pacifica hops. Buzz Buttons, an edible flower that causes a tingling sensation, were added to the pale ale along with lemon peel to bring out the dry body of the beer while providing a faint tingle at the finish.

750 mL bottle. Huge white head. Settles quickly. Takes a long time to pour, though. Smells of lots of brett. Earthy and a little bit of rubber. Light lemon and citrus hops. Tastes a little less aggressive, but still very bretty. Some lemon and floral hops. Very light doughy malt flavor. Seltzery back end with high carbonation. Long earthy and bretty finish. Light body. I kept this guy cold and the brett has completely taken over.

L: Brilliant gold with a 2" white cap with fair to good retention.

S: Fruit - leaning towards pomme fruit and stone fruit (pear, peach and a little green apple), and a trace of funk.

T: Fresh fruit, medium citrus rind hop bitterness, mild funk

F: effervescent, light bodied.

O: A very elegant beer with a masterful development of Brett fruit flavors.

Poured from 750ml bottle into glass. The beer was released in July of 2018.
Cloudy, straw colored body. Each slight pour results in lots of head which retreats rather rapidly. It took four pours to get a full glass of beer. There are some spots of lacing left behind.
Aroma is of the yeast, which is horse blanket and rubber.
Taste is funky horse blanket, with some brighter hops (orange and grape) trying to intrude. Each sip is ended with the tingle provided by the Buzz Buttons flower.
Mouth feel is medium to full, and very dry. High carbonation, due to the active yeast action.
This is a Belgian style funky pale ale, not sweet at all, but instead dry and heavily dominated by the brett. The tingling flower sensation is an interesting touch. The way the piled on head settles back creates its own attraction.
