Poured from 750ml bottle into glass. Capped and corked bottle. Cork is soaked and disintegrated upon extraction. Released late summer of 2018.
Ruby colored body. Fizzy head immediately dissipates. No lacing.
Sour blueberry aroma, with lemon.
Taste is sour blueberry fruit. Has a hint of sweetness from the maple syrup (which lingers for a while in the after taste).
Medium mouth feel. Very dry. Sour but not puckering nor enamel scraping. Good carbonation.
Tasty sour with taste influences from blueberry, and with just a hint of the maple syrup. The syrup takes this beer away from a very sour ale, and allows for a quicker sipping sequence. Shows real barrel aging and terrifically better than a kettle sour, because of its depth and nuances.

Pours a a blueish purple with a thin white head. Smell was tart fruit and wild yeast. Taste was all blueberry with a tart finish. Mouth feel was tart & dry with almost no pancake or bacon.
