Wild Mind Ales

Not sure how, given the high abv, they tag this as a single ipa instead of a double, but, whatever. Looks fantastic in the tulip, a dense glowering red/orange/amber, with a half-finger head and decent lacing. This packs serious hoppy punch, and the hop bill, as befitting the name, is pre-neipa sticky dank sweet: simcoe, citra, and Amarillo. That sounds good to me on paper, and the actual doesn’t disappoint.
The feel is a little rough and jagged, and the second time I tried this it bothered me more than the first time. Still, an enjoyable beer.
