Crowler can, filled in February of 2019.
Black colored body with a thin mahogany brown back lit edge. Two fingers of mocha brown head, but this retreats back to an interrupted cap. Leaves behind some thin strings of lacing.
Aroma of dark roasted malts with lots of chocolate variety and a slight bitterness of coffee.
Taste is much more with the expressions of chocolate and the coffee is sent to the back of the room. Sweet chocolate syrup, fudgy chocolate, darker cocoa, and a brief appearance of chocolate mint. The chocolate variety continues to swirl in the after taste.
Thicker than medium mouth feel. Has a smooth and syrupy texture. Carbonation is there but not overly so.
This is a real chocolate bomb, but retreats from any level of cloying sweetness. Higher ABV% is hidden well, so watch out.
