With a Cloud Zest IPA base, this sour IPA blends the bright citrus notes of Hallertau Blanc and Motueka hops with the acidic snap and light funk of our foeder-aged golden sour.

Pours a hazy light straw color, Notes of white wine mixed with citrus and lemon grass. Has a wild tartness and funk of a sourgolden ale. Finishes with refreshing tropical notes light sour.

Not sure that the classification is right on this one...foeder aged sour ale, I think. (Apparently, it uses their cloud zest ipa as a base -hopped with Hallertau Blanc and Eukanot- but then is blended with the foeder aged golden sour, a beer that I enjoy a lot). Pale dull solid yellow on the pour, not much head. Nose is a little grassy hay, on the tongue it is nicely sour, with a touch of funk and some kind of fruity juiciness (maybe underripened pineapple) to make the sour a little more substantial and full, but no sweetness intrudes. Finish is pretty clean without coming to too much of a point, carb is moderate...tasty.
