Early 2018 Forgotten Barrel Society release. 750ml bottle. In the bottle for nearly two years before opening.
Cloudy, pale gold colored body, with a resemblance to the peach color. Quick fizzy white head, with lots of rising bubbles feeding a quick to dissipate ring. No lacing.
Aroma of a soft, ripe peach nestled in oak barrel, and nurtured by yeast. Fuzzy, sweet, and a touch of funk.
Taste is slightly sour, with a balance of the peach sweetness. Backed by the funk of fermented peach skins and the oak barrel.
Medium mouth feel, with some prickliness on the tongue. Very good carbonation.
Expresses as a delicate blend of fruit, oak barrel, and wild yeast. Extremely well balanced. Quite tremendous.
