A piquette-inspired sour beer, Frontenac grapes were rehydrated with our base golden sour from one of our oak foeders. The resulting mashup, Fouquette, pours a beautiful maroon with notes of candy, blackberry, and leather.

500 ml bottle split with my brother at the brewery. Pours a beautiful light maroon with a slightly pinkish head. Aroma and flavor are tart slightly funky grapes with some bready malt and leather. Quite fruity and not super complex. Overall it's a tasty fruited wild sour that will probably be even better after a couple of years.
