One of the 2019 offerings from The Forgotten Barrel Society. Released in December of 2019. Corked and capped bottle.
No description or ABV% on label, or found online.
Clear, cherry red colored body. Very little carbonation. No lacing.
Aroma is cherry and other fruit, something akin to melon.
Taste is sour. Flavor of cherry and perhaps something close to exotic fruit such as dragonfruit.
Thin mouth feel. Again I report very little carbonation. Somewhat of a tooth scraper.
The lack of bubbles detracts from the experience. Tartufo is an Italian ice cream dessert, with at least two flavors of ice cream, frozen fruit syrup in the middle, and a chocolate shell. Aronia is chokecherries, so this brew is likely a wild ale with chokecherries.
