750ml bottle. Corked and capped. One of the 2019 selections from The Fogotten Barrel Society.
Slightly cloudy, typical red blueberry colored body. Half a finger of white fizzy head upon pouring, and then a thin cap through the session. No lacing.
Lots of aroma is evident upon pulling the cork. Very strong berry and lactic acid smell. The berry smell is akin to blueberry.
Taste is medium sour, with a dense berry flavor. Underneath is a flavor that evokes the memory of cobbler crust and cinnamon. Rather dry at the end, with lactic acid burps.
Medium mouth feel, with some tooth scraping. Godd carbonation.
One of the better 2019 Society offerings, with flavors that are dense and show depth.
