Ordered from Tavour, chilled for a couple weeks in the fridge and poured into a tulip glass.
Look: light strawberry red, finger size white head that dissipated and left a small ring of lacing that doesn't hang on the glass.
Smell: sour up front followed by strawberry jam and some floral notes, vanilla trailing.
Taste: taste follows the nose with sour strawberry jam up front, followed by notes of lemon and passion fruit. The floral notes of hibiscus hang around with vanilla trailing. No bitterness or booze
Feel: light to medium feel, nice tickle of carbonation, sour and acidic notes with no booze drying
Overall this is an interesting beer. The fruity sour of strawberry and floral notes of hibiscus is something we had never had before. The addition of passion fruit and lemon add a nice balancing act that is almost like a Berliner. This is very much like a strawberry jam in a beer.
Cheers everyone!
