16 oz can.
Pours a raspberry copper color with 2 fingers of creamy khaki head. Pretty good head retention. Leaves some random splotchy lacing.
The aroma is full of melon with some fresh strawberries and a hint of tart cherry. There's some faint wheat in the back.
The flavor has honeydew melon and watermelon jolly ranchers, followed by a wave of strawberry, cherry, and black raspberry. Has a subtle wheat malt backbone.
The feel is full-bodied with minimal carbonation. Moderate tartness. Very dry on the finish.
Overall, this is a pretty good kettle sour. It definitely brings what is advertised, but is a bit sweeter than expected. It's called a "smoothie style" sour, but doesn't list lactose on the can. Surely there is some, as a 4.5% beer is rarely able to achieve a full body.
