Conspirator is a malty lager embodying the essence of Spring. Light in color yet rich in taste, it's a crowd-pleaser. Its flavor comes from a pronounced malt character, offering a graham cracker sweetness, balanced by the subtle bitterness of noble hops. A clean finish ensures each sip is satisfying, leaving a crisp sensation. Conspirator is a unique beer experience, perfect for any drinker and perfect for welcoming Spring.

Helles bock - cans from the taproom enjoyed at bonfire in Richfield. Excellent for the occasion.

A blond bock at the brewery, served in a dimpled mug, very golden honey color with a slight haze, 1 finger of soapy sudsy white head that subsides quickly, leaving a little spotty lacing. Nose is graham cracker and honey malt, maybe a little floral hops...sweet but not cloying. Taste and mouthful are hard to pry apart: clover sweet and honeyed, light maltiness, pretty smooth and just a little sticky. Decent complexity that sits on the tongue with all its malty sweetness, kind of full bodied without being heavy. The original poster has this at 8.5 %, but the brewery notes have it at 6.5%...I guess I'd bet on the brewery notes, but if I didn't have those to go on, I'm not sure whether I'd go along with the 8.5 or not. It is very smooth and a little wet, and its hard for me to figure out how strong it is. The brewery notes talk about "crisp" but that doesn't match what I get...and I don't really look for a bock to have a crisp finish, anyway.

blonde (amber) double Bock, tested from a 750ml can bought at the taproom, had a full pour at the taproom also.
Look: nice transparent amber body, good tall head that leaves some lacing.
Smell: fruit/herbal ester. bread,
Taste: follows the nose with some sweet caramel. Has a odd pear/white grape type flavor also. Micro hint of honey mixed in. Smooth beer.
Feel: is ok not thin or thick. Has a little carbonation in after the pours settles down.
It's OK, I will give it a 3.83/5
