Appearance: Pours a completely hazy (5% clarity) medium orange color with a moderate white head. SRM of 7. (4.00)
Aroma: Strong aromas of orange, passionfruit, with peach. some tropical pineapple/melon underneath. (4.00)
Flavor: Strong and juicy flavors of orange passionfruit, peach with mild guava bitterness. Some tropical notes underneath. (4.00)
Feel: Medium to heavier bodied. Average carbonation. Smooth and soft mouthfeel. (4.00)
Compared to Ursa Minor Galactic Face Slap 2/2023: Pours lighter, milder head. Stronger aromas. Less grapefruit, mango. More orange and peach flavors. Sweeter and smoother. Winner: Space Madness
Compared to Insight/Fair State Demo Tape 2/2023: Pours darker, stronger aromas. More orange and peach. Less grapefruit, lemon citrus, pine, mango.
Overall: A pretty decent hazy NEIPA here. Has some rich orange, passionfruit, and peach flavors. Mild guava bitterness. Drinks heavier than expected. Some brett yeast apparently too. Nicely done because it's not overpowering. Leans sweeter. Drinks soft and smooth. (Rating: 4.00)
