Rich and luscious barleywine built on a simple malt base, double mashed and boiled for nearly a day and a half to develop a fullness and complexity that would stand up to an extended slumber in barrels. Aged in freshly dumped peach brandy barrels for over 21 months. Deep notes of peach cobbler, creme brûlée, toasted oak, maple candy, and a warming boozy finish. This massive, yet approachable beer emerged from the barrels as close to perfect as we could have wished for and is served to preserve its velvety smooth character.

500ml bottle. No dating information found.
Ruby brown colored body. No head, just a few bubbles when poured. No lacing.
Aroma of plum, raisin, brown sugar, chocolate, and a smidgen of peach brandy barrel.
Taste has more peach brandy barrel than in the nose. Flavors of plum, raisin, and brown sugar. Chocolate comes in late. Dark fruit lingers in the aftertaste.
Thicker than medium mouth feel, with some stickiness. Displays a lack of carbonation; especially the flavor presentation is rather flat. Higher ABV% is hidden.
Flat for carbonation, which detracts from the flavor and mouth feel.
