Tap pour at the brewery/taproom. Served chilled in a mug with handle.
Medium amber colored body. Creamy beige head. Leaves behind irregular spots of lacing.
Aroma of sweet malt with a layer of smoke.
Taste is sweet malt, a gentle smoke infusion, and a touch of spicy hops. Smoke wraps the tongue in the aftertaste.
Medium mouthfeel, with a creamy smoothness. Slight bitter bite. Very good carbonation.
Smoke is there throughout but more subtle than overdone.
