Pours a dark brown color with ruby edges and a finger of head. The nose has mild roast complimented by the faint essence of chocolate and caramel. There is a nice contrasting chocolatey sweet flavor that balances the roast well. The body seems a touch thinner than I'd expect from such a flavorful offering.
