Pours a translucent golden color with a white head that fades and does not leave lacing. Smell is sweet malt with the granola that comes through. I also get honey on the nose. The roasted coffee is there, but more in the background. Taste is also malty and sweet. The granola flavor is there, again with coffee flavors not as present, but there on the finish. I don't really get much vanilla or chocolate. Thinner feel; very easy drinking. Hides the 8.2% ABV well. Overall, a solid beer of an interesting style that's worth the try.
