Pours a deep thick black color with a creamy mocha colored head on top. The smell of the beer is rich with chocolate roast and cheesecake sweetness. The taste is sweet almost throughout, I wouldn't say it's cloying but it's close. The elements of all the flavors they were going for in this one are there on pretty much every level. The feel is silky smooth, very rich though so I little goes a long way, a true dessert sipper of a beer. Overall I liked this beer a lot, I could see how it might be too much for some people. For me, it stands out as one of the best beers I've had from Lost Tavern thus far. Glad I got to try it!
