Pours a deep dark brown color with ruby and beige edges and a finger of tan head. The nose is straight-up soft bourbon with little else discernible. Bourbon is also the feature note in the flavor profile. There are some residual notes of sweet molasses that poke through the bourbon, but the whiskey essence is clearly upfront all the way through the finish. In spite of the prominence of the bourbon, this offering never seems too boozy.

A - Pitch black pour with thin caramel colored lacing.
S - Malt aroma is almost non-existent followed with Bourbon and green apple aroma.
T - Oak, Bourbon, and very little chocolate malt presence. This is more like a glass of Bourbon with some malt thrown in for good measure.
M - Some warming in the back of the throat, thick in the middle and thin around the edges.
O - This beer has no character and is really one dimensional.
