One of the first sour beers I've tried. I'm definitely going to try this por Gose elsewhere (biggest let down was no selling bottles & I was only passing through.

On tap at brewery:
Pours a hazy faded yellow gold. Head is white, small-bubbles, and cling to the glass for a little while.
Nose is a bit of almost lactose, the sour side of it for sure. The wheat is cereal-like, with a splash of sweetness. There's a tart to sour note with some mild lemongrass, or a somewhat reedy grass like bitterness that makes a slight bit pleasant cut into the tart.
Taste is maybe slightly sour leaning, but fits right in with what I enjoy about a Berlinerweiss. The wheat provides a nice base for the tart notes. Medium feel, but I have to think about it, it seems lighter. The carbonation helps, but doesn't interfere early. There's a sour tingle that could be the flavor and feel co-mingling.
This just worked for me. I think I'm the end, the wheat flavor came out more than just the feel, and was necessary for the sour level. A bolder interpretation, but not one that relied purely on puckering sour.

From notes: poured into a tasting glass, color is opaque straw, head is bright white
Smell is tart, light lacto, some light funk.
Taste is tart, lacto qualities, good cheesy funkiness, very sour and tart.
Mouthfeel is biting and sour, great light sweetness and lingering pungent sourness.
Overall a great Berliner with some nice funkiness, probably the best of the flight I sampled.
