On tap at Revelation Craft Brewing Company, Rehoboth, Delaware.
Pours an opaque black color with a well retaining foam head. Rings of lacing throughout.
Aromas of dark toasted malt, dark chocolate and lightly roasty. Notes of dark fruit, woodsy and floral hops.
Clean dark toasted malt flavors, biscuity, notes of lightly charred malts, chocolate and a slightly tart and lemony twang from the black malts, evoking sourdough and espresso. Woodsy and earthy hops add a clean bitterness, along with bright notes of citrus. The finish is bright, lightly tart and with a touch of earthy resin.
Medium bodied and semi crisp. The carbonation is moderate.
Solid Schwarzbier that is easy to drink.

I will admit to this being reviewed when I might have a hint of palate fatigue, but I added it and feel I should give my opinion.
Pours a very dark brown bordering on black. A nice white head has honeycomb bubbles, and lasts well into the pour. Lacing is fairly extensive.
Nose is light and woody and grainy, hinting at the darker malt profile but not really showing it. A little bit of cola-like roasted note comes out with warmth.
The beer has a decent effervescence that I think detracts a tad from the beer. I enjoy the smoother feel of others I have had.
The taste has a roasted nature to it, but also seems to go a little heavy on the bitterness. I had their black IPA, and while it had a little citrus lean versus this, it was a similar profile. The claim is that the dark malts don't bring bitterness, but I'm getting more bitterness than I expected.
Perhaps it's the feel/taste combo, or maybe I'm just missing the maltiness as I define it, but this wasn't as smooth and was more assertive than I like within the style.
