From the can, it pours a clear orange color with a large and well retaining frothy head.
The aroma is dominated by its adjuncts. Specifically, notes of lime and ginger add a sweetness and zesty spice.
The flavors are dominated by sweet and zesty notes of lime amidst a solid and rounded bready malt backbone and lightly citrusy and peppery hops. The finish has a ginger spice kick that compliments the other flavors.
Light to medium bodied and easy to drink. Crisp mouthfeel with a lively carbonation.
This is a nice and refreshing blond ale. I especially like how the lime and ginger benefited what is often a more “bland” style.
