Whole Foods Market - Streeterville

Downtown Chicago location of Whole Foods. Nice craft selection, at decent prices. I enjoyed chatting with their beer buyer, and was turned on to some good selections.

 

Standard WFM, decent selection with some current Marz seasonals, though a little thin on imports. Most of the beer is in coolers, with one shelf of warm beer, and scattered endcaps. Wine takes up half to 2/3 of the liquor area.

There is a bar with 12 taps in here somewhere, but I didn’t have time to check it out. Mostly local craft with a seasonal or two. No staff on the floor, but there was a Finch beer tasing. Eh. Express lane handled a long line of 20 people in under 10 min, impresssive.

No great shakes, but a convenient stop if you’re walking by. If you're staying downtown, there's a midsize Binny's on Grand, a huge flagship location in the South Loop, and also Printer's Row Wine Shop for a smaller but well curated selection.

The beers are scattered in various locations around the store but they also have a dedicated fridge with some of their single bottle beers. Nice craft selection with some really good local stuff.
