I picked up this crowler at the brewery about 20 days ago and its been in my fridge since then. Sampling cold and poured into my .5L dimple mug. The beer pours a slightly hazy amber to copper color with a fluffy offwhite head of about 2.5 cm. The foam fades to a sturdy edge layer and some wispy islands.
Aroma is light with some biscuity notes and a little cereal graininess not really any hop note and the nose is pretty mild overall.
The first sip reveals a light body with crisp thinner texture and very fine tingly carbonation. The beer drinks very easy for the physical traits. Seems about right for the style.
Flavor is similar to the nose and is also mild. I get some saltine cracker and biscuit malt with maybe a little white grape vinous hit. Hops not really any presence and the abv is well hidden.
This is a pretty solid festbier, glad to have tried this one and glad to add a CT brewery beer to the BA DB!

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
