Pours a murky, chocolate color. Not a lot of head.
Smells quite wintery, lots of chocolate, with hints of leather and raisins.
The taste is dark chocolate, a bit of hoppy bitterness, and ends with some leather and fudge.
Thin bodied, nice amount of carbonation.
Brown ales are not my favorite style, but I enjoyed this quite a bit. Well made, and the smell was very nice indeed.
