Bog Turtle Brewery

Storefront location near the main intersection in Rising Sun. Looks are deceiving, place is pretty large inside. Large bar on the left the rest tables. About a dozen taps, doesn't stray too far from the norm. Food available, decent. Beers average, service good. Limited street parking. But a small public lot a short walk away.

 

 

 

 

I stopped in here on a recent trip to Oxford. This is a small place, it looks like it's still under renovation a bit. Six beers were on tap during my visit, all at reasonable prices. Atmosphere, was kind of homey. Well, a little to homey, I deducted points because I'm not a fan of children at a drinking establishment, especially one that doesn't serve food. Staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, a nice place that I will likely be returning to.
