Kawi is the Cherokee word for coffee, and this stout is infused with copious amounts of cold-brewed Nicaraguan coffee and roasted malts, balanced by caramel sweetness and a hint of milk sugar. Pour yourself a mug and get the day started off right.

Drinking this at The Curahee Brewery in beautiful Franklin North Carolina with The Red Headed Lady of Snowbird Mountains Brewery fame.
Looks dark brown almost black with a tannish foamy head that dropped quickly to a thin cap.
Smells Coffee and malt.
Taste Follows the nose nicely, very upfront like a cup of strong black coffee, not really very sweet or milky.
Mouth feel is medium plus for the style with a slick creamy finish.
Overall a very strong coffee flavor upfront, and a little bitter.
I would definitely order again.
Cheers!

In a word, This is a Outstanding Stout!
Starting with the look. Poured into a Tulip glass, This Beer was a rich, deep amber. Small amount of head Beautiful Black in color in the glass and absolutely opaque. The Cap is a incredible Creamy Dark tan. Lacing is nice as well. sticks to the glass and looks sugary. Moving on to Smell. The aroma is Light and wofty. On the nose this beer smell very simular to any other stout. You get a nice Licorice and cold brew coffee smell. Now lets talk about taste. To say the least, the flavor is wonderful. The start is bold, roasty and sweet. The Milk sugar is at the forefront, creating a platform for all the rich flavors to take part. Soon followed by a characteristic stout quality. Licorice, Dark roasted malts and subtle notes of coffee come into play around the middle. towards the end, you get a bit of the sweetness with a touch of a whisky character. sort of oaky. The finish is wet. The Mouth feel is unique for this beer. Not exactly creamy, but more along the lines of silky. Very smooth. Medium-heavy body. Low Carbonation. Overall, Good Stout.

I received a six of Kawi Coffee Milk Stout obtained from the brewery as a Christmas gift. Very dark, opaque, black with a tan thin lacy head that dissipates rather quickly; The aroma is rich and pleasant but not strong at all; The mouthfeel is smooth with light to moderate carbonation; The flavor is full-bodied, rich, quite pleasant with a hint of coffee. This is a good, tasty beer.
The lackluster head and faint aroma hold my rating score of this beer down a bit. And I like a little more carbonation. So Look, Smell, and Feel, took a hit. Nevertheless, I do like this stout.

L: poors a silky dark brown, just a hair lighter than a starbucks coffee, with a thin tan head that lingers for a long time.
S: strong coffee mixed with sweet milk and brown sugar
T: STRONG taste of black coffee, light lactose sweetness, ends with a bitter almost sour finish just like a cup of black.
F: Thick and rich, with perfect amount of carbonation really gives it a juicy mouthfeel.
Overall: This is the most 'Coffee-y' stout I have ever had. It is absolutely delicious, and I HIGHLY RECCOMEND it for any fans of the style.

On tap at the 2018 ATL Winter Beer Festival.
This is a rather smoky stout with more smoke than coffee until it warm up a bit. Some burnt toast. The aftertaste is markedly better than expected. Improved and has more coffee with warming.
Medium bitterness.
