The second volume in our Lucky Scars series, this hazy IPA is loaded with Azacca, Ekuanot, Mandarina Bavaria, Citra and Simcoe Hops. With a silky, soft mouthfeel, it is big and juicy tropical fruit on the palate. Coming in at 6.5% ABV, this beer is surprisingly easy and delicious.

122/24/23 - Slightly hazy Dark amber, foamy head, lacy; tangy flavor goods mouthfeel; a nice Christmas gift directly from the brewery. Fa la la la la la la la la
12/30/23 - It's a Hazy IPA, its name says, but it's only un poco hazy, It has a nice rich flavor, not bitter. I like it!. I adjust my initial rating for taste to 4 which brings smell up with it.
Good thing I have a dear sister near the brewery. :-)
(and maybe the Pink Champaign I had accompanying, to enjoy the beer so much.)

12 oz can from Asheville served in a lager glass where it initially filled the glass with foam as if vigorously shaken before opening (no shaking, of course). The huge, bright white head settles slowly, bearing an increasing resemblance to meringue and leaving large patches of foam sticking to the glass. The rising body is hazy with a pale golden color. Eventually, after emptying the can into the glass, the body turns completely cloudy even as the head lingers on and on.
The aroma features grassy notes with some citrus but the flavor has more tropical fruit notes and is less hoppy than expected from either the style or the aroma. Mild strength and bitterness for style.
Mouthfeel. Pleasing with lively but soft carbonation, medium body and a dry finish.
