KRYPTON is a classic German Weissbier—with its banana and clove fermentation character and refreshing wheat flavours—enhanced with the addition of blood orange juice for a fruity, bitter and refreshing twist. It is part of a special six-pack of beers—the Noble Gas Project—created with twelve other breweries to celebrate the third birthday of Siphon Brewing.

Pours a hazy, golden amber coloration with a medium, foamy head. Smells of doughy malt, grapefruit and hints of yeasts esters of banana and clove. Taste is a good balance of doughy malt, tangy/bitter blood orange and lighter notes of yeast esters of banana and clove. Finishes with a medium bitterness and some tangy blood orange lingering in the aftertaste. Full mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
While this may not be the most traditional interpretation of the style, it's still an exceptionally tasty beer, even though the typical yeast esters get a little overshadowed by the tangy and bitter blood orange here. However, there's still a rather nice balance going on, which does make for an great, unique and refreshing beer.
