Second hand can given to me by someone who purchased from the brewery. 355mL can.
Can overpressurized, likely due to contamination; excessive gushing upon opening. Poured into a tulip glass after foaming had finally settled, where it looked appealing with a dark golden color and dense head. Good head retention, mild lacing.
Smell is extremely chemical. Chlorine noticeable, as well as a strange artificial fruit (like a cherry Halls lozenge). Musty, oily aromas. Hop character is very much covered by noticeable taint.
Taste follows more of the same. Noticeable chlorine taste, as well as capryllic waxiness.
Incredibly flawed product coming straight out of the brewery, only a few weeks old and mostly cold-stored.
