Moving up from the Tripel, I scored a 0.33l bottle of their Quad, also at Tap-House Munich on 27SEP22. Cost was a pricier €8.90. Had better Biers for less in Netherlands and Belgium, but WTF...eh? ;-)
Poured dark but clear.... was dahk brown, with some reddish hues. Head was light beige and thin, mostly a rim job, with light lace. Had aromas of dahk fruit, like raisins and dates... It had a medium body, and was rather smooth, all in all.
Taste consisted of dahk fruit notes, with some caramel.... plus raisins, currants and dates. Add in a hint of honey and a smidge of choco.... made for easy drinking, despite the price. Prosit!!
