This is a very drinkable Black IPA and perhaps one that could be defined as session (flavor-wise, not ABV-wise). The flavors are somewhat muted making this beer easy to drink, which is perhaps not what one looks for in a black IPA. It's a nice beer, don't get me wrong, but I would have liked a little bit more oomph from it.
