Amber copper color with a thick off-white head with great retention and leaving laces.
Aroma with notes of grapefruit, pineapple, some pine and a bit of toasted malts.
Nice flavor full of tropical flavors with notes of pine, honey, mild caramel, toasted malts, American yeast, passion fruit, spices, dry fruits, tangerines and grapefruit. Dry aftertaste with a lasting bitterness. Its 92 IBUs are sure present, but rather smooth.
Medium towards full body with appropriate carbonation of tiny bubbles. Alcohol of 8.2% is well disguised.
Very balanced and fun to drink citrusy DIPA. Not unique or very original, but it has all the right notes for the style. Well attenuated, not sweet, as it should. I sure would not bother to drink this repeatedly. Best from their portfolio
