Pours a clear yellow with soft, fluffy head.
Smell is crisp and crackery with notes of knäckebröd, citrus and wheat dough.
Taste is crisp, crackery and a bit herbal. Notes of knäckebröd, wheat dough, rye and citrus with a moderate bitterness.
Mouthfeel is medium with good carbonation.
Overall, a hard beer to rate. It's a great lager, but it is not a Märzen at all. Oddly named.

What an awesome marzen. This one was fizzing in my glass, wildly! Citrus, on the nose and taste, biscuity malts with that iron zippy herbal hop finish. What a beer

Got one from Sterk, Amsterdam. A good Marzen, very drinkable, but perhaps not up there with the truly great ones. A bit lacking in taste and aftertase.
