A: Hazy, very dark reddish garnet. Very attractive...for a dubbel. Head's a decent size, khaki colored. Moderate lacing.
S: Lots of deep malt and playful phenols at work. It has a wistful smokiness, a hint of pepper, and a bready toastiness. Minimal fruitiness to muddle things.
M: Very drinkable, light-medium body that errs on thin. Base carbonation is moderate, and smooth feel.
T: Pink peppercorn balanced with underripe strawberries. Lemon, honey, herbal hops, crusty malt.
