On tap at the brewery bar.
Medium amber color under a low, dense white head. Good head retention, bright and clear.
Aromas of fresh wort sweetness and conifer hop spice, this smells inviting but in a polite way.
The flavor is full of malt depth up front, mellow bitterness follows to balance things out.
Hop rate is mostly back end, firm bite but shy of IPA bitterness for a 6% beer. Nice.
Body is barely medium but very satisfying, excellent balance.
The finish is again polite and well balanced in this well made Pale Ale offered as an homage to the Walkway Over The Mighty Hudson River that many visitors to the brew pub enjoy just 2 miles away.
