L: Had this beer on tap at Ghost Monkey's taproom, poured into a snifter. Had an amber color and a clear texture. There was a half inch of foamy head that lasted a fair amount of time. Pretty good lacing.
S: Not surprisingly, the coffee is the most powerful element in the aroma, with hops and citrus as well.
T: Tasted of a lot of coffee, some citrus notes (a little lemon and orange), light malt notes, a slightly floral quality - not that apparent - and a hint of a sweet, sugary ingredient. The coffee is definitely the star in the flavor, with a fairly hoppy finish. Strangely, the taste seems a little thin at first, but gets better as it goes along.
F: A good amount of carbonation with a somewhat slick finish. Light-bodied.
O: A well done variation of the typical APA style. Very drinkable and light.
