L: Had this beer on tap at Ghost Monkey's taproom, poured into a pint glass. Had a black color and a thick texture. There was half inch of creamy, tan-colored head that lasted an average amount of time. Excellent lacing.
S: A decent, but not spectacular aroma of malt, coffee, and a creamy quality.
T: Tasted of a fair amount of coffee, the aforementioned creamy quality (not as big as I expected), light hops notes, a good shot of roasted malt, and a sweet chocolaty quality as well. This is a nitro beer, so it has that particular chemical character, but this isn't a problem. Could have used a bit more coffee. An interesting flavor.
F: A solid amount of carbonation with a smooth, dry finish. Medium-bodied.
O: While this isn't my favorite stout of all time, it's worth a look. Easy to drink.
