"Bia Vang" Golden Prague pilsner. On-draught @ the brewpub.
Surprisingly competent, though far from a proper pilsner with a sweeter taste and a heftier body. Pils malts, grassy hops (Saaz/Noble), clean barley. Balanced and approachable, albeit simpler than even this simple style usually is.
Smooth and wet, but crisply overcarbonated such that it's only somewhat refreshing. Not oily, gushed, hot, boozy, astringent, or harsh.
Drinkable and enjoyable, neutral and shallow though it is. Inoffensive, though, which is more than can be said about some Vietnamese attempts at Czech style beers. No off flavours here.
