Pours an amber colored, completely filtered beer with an ivory one finger head.
Smells of spicy, sweet malts and a subtle leaf dankness.
Drinks soft at the beginning, turning very lively and refreshing later on, due to an effervescent carbonation. Surprisingly intense on the palate, seems to pack way more flavors than an 4.8 abv normally would.
Pungently spicy up front with black peppers, cardamom, earthy cinnamon, clove and cakey sweet malts. Almost exploding on the palate, amped up by the lively carbonation, which keeps the mouthfeel refreshing and easy drinking. Turns a little more bready once the tastebuds got adjusted to the flavors, with a luscious malt richness and a subtle herbal character.
Leaves the palate pretty clean and surprisingly exhausted, since this guarantees a rollercoaster on the palate which does not leaves you buzzed in any way.
