Amber colored with a mild haze. Small initial head which settles to rim bubbles. A few small spots for lace.
Earthy and peppery aroma. Plenty of grapefruit rind.
The malt start is brief and faint. It offers a bit of brief sweetness with a definitive alcohol warmth. The straight-up bitterness kicks in early culminating in the swallow. The body is full, but this is enhanced with the lower carbonation.

Batch #2. A bright amber color, with a hazy glow and a dense white head that persists forever. Highly carbonated with a medium full body. Appealing dank grapefruit and apricot aroma. It has enough malt sweetness to balance the bitterness, but the overall flavor was a neutral, mild bitterness, lacking distinctive hop or malt character. The finish is dry and very slightly bitter, with a hint of grapefruit. Despite its low flavor profile, I found it satisfying and interesting enough to keep me looking forward to the next sip.

BAM BAM Double IPA Rotating Hops Series ABV 8.8%. 16 oz. can poured into the famous Sam Adams glass.
I had the BATCH #2 MOSAIC, CITRA, SIMCOE
Simcoe rounds out Mosaic and Citra’s pineapple, orange & mango notes, adding bright touches of passion-fruit and pine to this New England-style hop bomb. It's all good but expect a load of hops.

Had on tap. Pours slightly hazy, gold in color with minimal head. Taste is lemon and grapefruit. Medium bodied and carbonation bitter. Makes for an above average ipa.

Poured from a pint can into a pint glass. Beautiful off-white head with amazing lacing that lasted through out the consumption of the beer. Light amber in color. Delicious tropical citrusy aroma, which was present in the first sip - Grapefruit, mango & apricot notes, with a slight bitterness at the end. Smooth finish, little evidence of the 8.8% abv. This is a DIPA I will purchase again and again!

A well balanced DIPA with a light floral and citrus combination that lingers, but yearns for another sip. The 8.8 is somewhat hidden until you finish your second, then WOW!
Cheers
