Thanks to JLindros for sharing this crowler.
A - Poured into a Kate the Great a mostly clear mahogany hue with a creamy tan head that fades to leave light lacing.
S - Aromas of huge calvados barrel notes with big rye whiskey along with big caramel notes, flashes of toffee as well.
T -Taste is similar to the nose with loads of sticky caramel. Nice bourbon barrels, almost apple like. Tons of sweeter malts, but mostly apple brandy.
M - Mouthfeel is lightly carbonated, little creamy, alcohol hidden nicely.
O - Overall this was a solid enough barleywine. Nice barrel notes and caramel.

Draft at the brewery
Dense rich off white head, great retention and lacing, hazy mahogany color
Nose smells like a raw whiskey barrel, those wood esters, whiskey, toasted slight buttery oak, big sweet candy malt, reddish malt, caramel, toffee, candy, faint alcohol
Taste again big whiskey barrel, toasted oak, wood esters, juicy whiskey, then big sweet malt, not too sweet, caramel, toffee, candy, rich, hops take over again, spicy with medium to high bitterness making an obvious American barleywine. Mild fruity notes, apple and dark fruits. Medium dry finish, flash of alcohol, spicy hops lingering with little whiskey, barrel, and candy malt
Mouth is fuller bod, not too rich or heavy, decent medium-light carb, very light alcohol warmth
Overall quite nice, the hops were acceptable but seem to get in the way a bit from the nice malts and great barrel
