The color is light brown (light passes through the center easily). The liquid appears to be clear. Very large, tight-bubbled head which takes awhile to recede. Some slippery lace on the glass.
Excellent chocolate aroma with a touch of alcohol. No notable coffee to make it a mocha, nose wise.
Think powdered cocoa. There's a touch of milk to the taste as well. Again, the mocha is quite mild, but here on the tongue, it is present. The body is similar to a Brown Ale, but the carbonation is lighter which makes up for the thinness. The finish was a touch of balancing hop but the darker malt is what lingers in the aftertaste.
